On May 31st and June 1st a small group of volunteers took it upon themselves to help in the leveling and cleaning of the property surrounding our field. It is here where the club is going to build our new runways. The photos below show some of the work and the results accomplished with the help of Eddy Bayer, the grader operator who did a tremendous job. We all tried to help but in the end Eddy was the guiding force.
Tony Fandino made a contraption to spray water on the ground to try and keep the dust down. He loaded a water tank on the back of his pickup truck and connected it the spray bar and we all took turns driving Tony's truck up and down the field.
